Troubleshooting

This chapter introduces common errors that may occur due to incorrect installation properties files and provides troubleshooting guidance.

Errors that occur during OpenFrame HiDB installation can be identified through the following two methods:

  • Open the $OPENFRAME_HOME/UninstallerData/log/install_hidb.log file directly with a text editor to check the errors.

  • After installing OpenFrame HiDB, check the error logs written when manually executing the script.

1. Error Types and Troubleshooting

This section describes the types of errors that may occur during OpenFrame HiDB installation and their solutions.

1.1. License File

If the license file does not exist or the license has expired, the following errors will occur.

  • Error Types

    • When there is no OpenFrame HiDB license file

      The following error occurs when executing HiDB utilities like DFSRRC00:

      181707 U CHK0001 /home/oframe/OpenFrame/license/lichidb.dat file open fail: 2
181707 E RRC0001E init_library() failed - RC=-28010

    • When OpenFrame HiDB license file has expired

      The following error occurs when executing HiDB utilities like DFSRRC00:

      181915 U CHK0005 HiDB license expired
181915 E RRC0001E init_library() failed - RC=-28026
